Cathleen Coleman has over 22 years’ experience as a solicitor practising in family law.
Cathleen has been recognised in Doyle’s 2024 Guide to the Australian Legal Market as a recommended practitioner for Parenting and Children’s Matters in New South Wales.
After graduating with a degree in Arts/Law from the University of New South Wales, Cathleen was admitted to practice in July 1987 in New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, and in March 1992 in the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
After working as a family lawyer in top tier law firms in Sydney, Cathleen worked in Social Services in London in child protection, adoption and mental health litigation and then as a family lawyer at Legal Aid in New South Wales. Cathleen was accredited as a specialist in family law when she was working in Sydney from 1996 to 2002.
Cathleen has expertise in all aspects of family law including property settlements, parenting issues, child support, spouse maintenance and de facto relationships.
